Non-Communicable diseases

Diagnosis and treatment of Non-communicable diseases (Diabetes and cardiovascular services) in which 79% for diabetes was available at the hospitals and 75% for cardiovascular disease were available at the hospitals. CHCs and one of every three clinics provided diabetes services. Fifty-two per cent (52%) of private facilities provided diabetes services compared with only 9% of government-managed facilities. Private health facilities were more likely to offer diagnosis and management of hypertension; 56% of private facilities offered the service compared with 17% of government facilities.
